The current "stable" version of ctypes is an upstream-preview (maybe even api-incompatible, but didn't check that). I Suggest stabilizing the latest 1.0.x-one.
I've just fixed the execstack issue it had (bug 167254). I don't know if that needs a full month in ~ before it can go stable. Would it be ok to give this one or two weeks and then get 1.0.1-r1 stable?

archs? 1.0.1-r1 is in the tree more than a month, so I think you can go on stabilizing.
damn, I'm too stupid. CC-ing archs.
