Description Derek Dolney 2003-03-08 13:10:34 UTC
I have a Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro keyboard. It works fine in X, but it
freezes periodically on the console. It will lock up after ~5 minutes typing on
the console. After another few minutes it unlocks, only to lock up again later.

This does not happen with other keyboards. I have an older, non-cordless, that I
switch to if I have to work on the console for more than a few minutes.

I am using the gentoo-sources kernel 2.4.20, but this problem also happened with
older, non-gentoo (redhat 2.4.3 and 2.4.19, if I remember right) kernels.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Switch to console
2.Type for a few minutes
3.

Actual Results:
Keyboard locks. No buttons do anything at all.

I didn't try this patch. This problem went away at some point, but I'm not sure when because I've been avoiding the console. I can't reproduce the problem with kernels 2.4.20-gentoo-r2 nor 2.4.20-gentoo-r3.
