Description Axxackall 2003-03-07 22:23:07 UTC
I am trying to add a CalendarBox to the CMF portal I am creating, using all Zope
and CMF recent ebuilds from the Portage. I've managed to add evelnt list
(news_box) on the right-side bar. But...

First problem I found is that the documentation about CMF Calendar is broken in
Zope help.

Second, CMF Calendar's CalendaBox macro is not registered anywhere. So, is it
really possible to add the CalendarBox to either left-side or right-side bars?

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install recent vanilla Zope and CMF;
2. Install CMF portal, add news, add news_box with event list;
3. Try to add CalendarBox.

Actual Results:
Actual result I can see on CMF Dogbowl. I guess ebuild got the same CMF version
as on Dogbowl side, right? Then why they have CalendarBox and we don't?

Expected Results:
Same CalendarBox as on CMF Dogbowl is expected.

After further investigation into CMF and Plone I begin to think that it's not a bug, it's feature. Calendar box should not work on default CMF portal - it's designed for Plone. Right?

If so then I suggest to close the bug. Which is independent from CMF ebuild anyway - same thing happens with manual CMF installation.
