Description Michal Maruska 2003-03-07 19:27:18 UTC
i have 'noclean', sometimes i change sources, ebuild XX install qmerge, and this way it's faster. but keeping the files under image/ subdir is useless for me.
Moreover, if i run out-of hd space in the middle of qmerge ??? mv & using the same FS (for the image/ )is a good idea to avoid it.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge anything w/ noclean feature and see the image/
2.
3.

fixed in cvs
Ok... Added FEATURES=keepwork
drop noclean.

Just use that under portage-2.0.47-r9
Comment 2 Michal Maruska 2003-03-15 11:55:17 UTC
no, this is not fixed.
i cannot modify the files, and ebuild install qmerge. it stops:
ebuild: this ebuild generated output during the depend phase (bad)

b/c some important .files are deleted (or even build/ subdir).

i guess, i really want only the image/ subdir removed, well as i said, the files 'moved' to the real directories (possibly on the same filesystem).
