Description Joerg S. 2007-03-11 15:10:18 UTC
Hi,

attached is an ebuild for the application fatsort I'd like to submit.

FATSort is a C utility that sorts FAT16 and FAT32 partitions. FATSort reads the boot sector and sorts the directory structure recursively. The prime use case are cheap MP3 players that are unable to sort the files in a directory and instead play them in the order provided by the file system.

I would suggest filing it in the category sys-fs.

License: FATSort is released under GPL.

Uhm, you should use dosbin to install the executable in src_install...

Now with dosbin, thanks to Jakub for pointing this out.

diff to 0.9.8.3

Updated to the most recent version, which also incorporates a few bug fixes I reported upstream.

Changes to the ebuild:
Shortened description a bit.
Sed makefile so make install can be used.
Respect CC and LD variables, CFLAGS and LDFLAGS.
Use emake.
Install man page.
Update docs.
