Hi, This is an ebuild for the `Python Documentation Utilities' (http://docutils.sourceforge.net/). The package consists of a `docutils' python module and a set of processing tools that together allow one to transform `reStructuredText' documents into various formats (html, latex, docbook, etc.). Perhaps useful for Gentoo documentation efforts?

Oops. I just noticed that bug #15158 is also for docutils. Should have checked first. However, this ebuild is for a cvs development snapshot (as recommended at http://docutils.sf.net/), whereas #15158 is for the older 0.2 version. My ebuild also pays more attention to the installation of the documentation and the tools associated with the package.

Whoops. Bugs was down when I wrote my own ebuild, and I never got around to looking at yours. Yours was much nicer, so I appropriated most of it. Thanks!!! I couldn't figure out why you had this line: dodir /usr/share/doc/${PF}/stx (So, naturally, I left it out. Apparently w/o breaking anything, but please do let me know if I've made a horrible mistake.)
No problem. With regard to the dodir /usr/share/doc/${PF}/stx line, I just looked at my ebuild again and I have no idea what I was thinking there either. Oh well. Regards, Ben
