Description Mohammed Gamal 2007-03-09 14:26:16 UTC
Emerging xf86-video-i810-1.9.91 fails as it requires >=x11-base/xorg-server-1.2.99.901 which isn't available in my portage tree. Note that this happened straight after i sync'ed my tree.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -uva xf86-video-i810
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Portage output:
emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy ">=x11-base/xorg-server-1.2.99.901".
(dependency required by "x11-drivers/xf86-video-i810-1.9.91" [ebuild])

If you unmasked x11-drivers/xf86-video-i810, then kindly take care of unmasking its dependencies as well.
Comment 2 Benjamin Smee (strerror) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-03-09 22:24:22 UTC
the version that it requires is NOT in portage jakub, this is not a question of unmasking.

Sorry, this was my bad. Donnie fixed it up for me.
