Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge cyrus-imapd

Actual Results:  
got error message every time I tried to compile it. i tried different gcc
optimization options with no luck. even tried to compile it manually without
portage but still no luck.

Expected Results:  
it should compile normally.

turn down your compiler flags

As I previously said i tried different flags and it didnt help at all. But i tried again with those settings:
