"emerge hermes" breaks with error in ebuild noted I cleaned up the ebuild file by: 1) deleting some trash at end of the file 2) adding newline before a '}' that had been glued to the end of a text line and, I believe, the emerge is working. Or at least 'emerge hermes' spits out lots of compile etc. lines and no error lines. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge rsync 2. emerge hermes 3. Actual Results: error noted in ebuild script Expected Results: built hermes media-libs I'm tagging as 'major' because it's blocking gnome, i.e. 'emerge gnome' fails.
please paste #emerge info this is a rsync-mirror issue
without knowing what rsync mirror you sync'd against, this issue is difficult/impossible to troubleshoot. downgrading to normal.
