Description Ryan Hadley 2003-03-06 10:30:27 UTC
When I try to emerge nethack 3.4.1 I get errors while compiling
./sys/unix/unixres.c saying RTLD_NEXT is not defined.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. USE="-X -gnome -qt" emerge nethack

glibc 2.3.1r3 installed (it owns /asr/include/dlfcn.h which defines RTLD_NEXT)

creating a patch file that adds #define __USE_GNU to ./sys/unix/unixres.c
allowed me to compile and succesfully run nethack.

I have attached a patch to bug# 16827 which fixes the RTLD_NEXT issue.
Comment 2 Ryan Hadley 2003-03-06 13:03:48 UTC
Huh... a search for RTLD_NEXT on the bug submission page only turns up this one. Sorry about that, I really thought it wasn't reported.
