I emerged Openoffice.bin and for some reason it does not want to start. 

Terminal output:

Do you still get this with openoffice-bin-2.2.0?

Also: Is there something special about your setup, which might interfere here?

Yes I just tested and 2.2.0 does the same thing. Also I should mention that the compiled OOo does not work either.

I am not sure if there is anything strange with my setup. It's a stage 3 install on a 3.00ghz P4 Prestonia cpu. Other programs are running just fine. I've tried re-emerging python with very stable build flags but that did not seem to help.
