glib-perl DEPENDs on x11-libs/gtk+-2, but it builds nicely without it, passing all tests in the testsuite. README file also doesn't mention GTK+ at all.

Please remove GTK+ from its dependencies.

yep, you're right. when it got added many moons ago, i wish i could say the dep was there (but i really don't remember anymore). but...but...it's written by the gtk-perl folks!
