The real criterium for stabilization is, do you seriously use it as a non-test app? Past status quo doesn't mean anything with the move to modular ...

That seems really weird to me. Why would a WM need a client-side tool?
dont ask.. beryl-manager is not the wm, its a little applet that allow to pick the WM and window decorator.
Please stabilize as a dep of beryl-manager.
