Emerging gnome; depends on epiphany.  epiphany fails with the following error and call stack:

only thing I changed was to open Firefox before building; it seems to work fine now.

Please paste the compile output from above the !!! ERROR line, what you have pasted is useless.

In my case, this was fixed after running revdep-rebuild which fixed a broken link in net-libs/xulrunner. After that, epiphany was installed correctly.

same issue and same solution here , revdep-rebuild rebuilt xulrunner and then epiphany could merge fine .... I think this bug should be marked as RESOLVED FIXED
