Hello I don't know why the ebuild of this fabulous class for latex was absent in portage was absent. Hope it works corretly. It works for me tough I hesitated to put the doc in /usr/share/texmf/doc/latex but I think It is better to differienciate tetex and prosper The french community of #frgentoo@irc.freenode.net would like to know if there is an 'official' process to become an gentoo contributor ? something comparable to the debian developper processus Thank you PS : Could you explain me that for certain ebuild I submitted, my name was erased from the .ebuild _AND_ not mentionned in the Changelog ? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Created attachment 8989 [details] Ebuild Prosper 1.00.4 The ebuild
Created attachment 9019 [details] updated with one more style I added the themes blends ( wich is not included in the official release but available on sf : http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=14812 As it is a very famous (and quite pretty : http://prosper.sourceforge.net/styles/blends.png) style, I prefered to add it transparently in the ebuild. It is available in GPL-2 as well
no need for: . /usr/portage/eclass/inherit.eclass || die use mirror://sourceforge/${PN} instead of http://telia.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/prosper/ sorry for the ChangeLog, there your name should be displayed. there are no more names in ebuilds.
Created attachment 9305 [details] corrected ebuild Thanks for your advices, here is the corrected ebuild. I knew about the names in the ebuilds, but what i said is it is better to write directly the name in the Changelog rather than just refering to a bug number, as it is done currently.
An update: we're waiting for some improvements to portage, then I will add this package into a new category, something like app-latex. Thanks for your patience!
Added to dev-tex.
