app-portage/gentoolkit-0.2.3 has been in the tree since 20 February with no new bugs filed.  I am requesting that it be marked stable early, since it fixes several issues with the current stable portage-2.1.2.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
Compiles and works fine on amd64.
