Description Jon Bramley 2007-03-02 14:28:43 UTC
meld does not do syntax highlighting, even though I have "Use syntax highlighting" ticked in the preferences screen. When I first emerged meld, it would not allow me to tick this box, so I had to re-emerge with the the "gnome" USE flag. Now it allows me to tick the box but still doesn't work.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge meld with the "gnome" use flag
2. use meld to diff to files (tcl, c, java, whatever)
3. enable "Use syntax highlighting" in the preferences menu
4. observer the lack of syntax highlighting

Actual Results:
No syntax highlighting

Expected Results:
some pretty coloured syntax highlighting

Mime type detection was broken. I've put 1.1.4-r1 into the tree, which should fix it (it does here).

Yep, thats fixed it here too. Thanks very much!
