Please test net-misc/libupnp and see if it works for your arch, and add the ~arch keyword. I'm working on removing net-misc/upnp, since it dead upstream, and libupnp is a fork that's being worked on. Reproducible: Always
The title of this bug conflicts with the description. Do you want ~arch keywords or arch keywords for this package?
I want the arch keywords, since that what net-misc/upnp has, but I think it needs to go into ~arch first for a month :-)
Ack, didn't realize there was a separate bug for this. net-misc/libupnp-1.4.2 is tested on ppc - Emerges cleanly - No collisions - linux-igd builds successfully with it. ~ppc added
please re-add amd64 once the 30 days are over and you decided which version to stablize
added ~ppc64
already done for sparc wrt #168279.
removing ppc, re-add us for stabilizing.
Bumping to version 1.4.4, please keyword ~arch.
May i ask why? There are no new deps or anything. Is this like a complete rewrite?
Well, the code has some changes, and I don't have access to all the archs to test and see if it even compiles. So, in order to avoid adding adding a keyword that doesn't work, I removed them, so the archs could readd them after they test it. Isn't that the right thing to do when bumping packages?
Not really, usually rolling back from arch to ~arch in case it was stable. Or just leave it alone in case it was ~arch unless you deem the changes are so extensive as to need a new testing round because it could break (usually code rewrites or so).
Okay, going to re add the keywords then :-) Changed bug to a stabilizing request. Thanks
This should only happen after 30 days...it hit the tree yesterday.
please readd arches when time has come ;-) maybe you want to take a small look at the "Moving from ~arch to arch" section from http://devmanual.gentoo.org/keywording/index.html
Updated to version 1.4.6 with a stabilization date of 30. May, since thats the day of the 1.4.5 release, and 1.4.6 only has the fix that we had added by a patch, so 1.4.5 + patch = 1.4.6 . Also moved from net-misc to net-libs.
Please stabilize libupnp 1.4.6, has been in the tree for 30 days now

I've actually been trying to ping you about this package. It appears to have 64bit issues. I use an app called djmount which is in the tree as net-fs/djmount and it just plain does not find any UPnP devices when compiled on amd64. However on x86 it works. The djmount author has tracked it down to 64 bit issues in this package. However, I can confirm this pkg is ok on x86. So, x86 stable and considering -amd64 for it.
Cardoe> Could you try it with net-misc/upnp on amd64 and see if that works? If it doesn't, then it might be djmount that is having amd64 problems instead.
sparc stable.
Has been stabled on amd64 and ppc.
