Any way, the thing is that i am not able to emerge any version of wxGTK in a Core 2 Duo machine, doesn't matter with snapshot, chost or configuration give a try. Please if you need more details about my system, just ask for it and I will post it. If this is not the right place or you think this is not the kind of things i should be posting in bugs.gentoo.org, please let me know, because i have a lot of issues with different programs at this moment and if this is the place i will send more reports. Don't refer to forums.gentoo.org for bug description. Post all relevant info here (compile errors, emerge --info outpt etc.) and reopen then.

builds fine on my machine does it crash at the same place every time ? what if you use CFLAGS="-O2" ?
