I recently filed a bug against beagle hanging while indexing broken .jpg files on the Gnome bugzilla: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411943 but I discovered that I had filed a duplicate bug, and the problem had already been fixed in Beagle 0.2.16.2. The Beagle developer advised me: > Gentoo should sync to 0.2.16.2 - the latest bugfix release for 0.2.16 which > contains the fix. 405372 contains the explicit patch if Gentoo wants to > backport it. I was going to try to write an ebuild for beagle 0.2.16.2, but I have no experience writing ebuild.... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
I'm aware of this release i just didn't bump it first because i need to decide a way if i will backport the fix or bump it so it can be on 2007.0 snapshot.
bumped on cvs. Adding Arches to stablize. Archs: This is just a bugfix release. Since this will be on 2007.0 dvd's and snapshots i want to have a almost bug free release on the tree. This version will be on stable for a long time. Thanks
x86 stable
@metalgod: The snapshot for 2007.0 was already taken long time ago. Did you talk to releng so they will update their snapshot?

Ah well, since ppc was last, might as well close this bug. *poof* fixed
