I tried to /dcc chat <nickname> on undernet, and konveration crashed with SIGSEGV. I think this is a bug for upstream, but since I'm using gentoo I report it here, sorry if it's the wrong place. Haven't tested this bug on other IRC-networks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Connect to irc.undernet.org 2. type: /dcc chat <nickname> 3. SIGSEGV Actual Results: konversation crashing. Expected Results: DCC chat. This is reported in bugs.kde.org as #133312 I can also confirm crash with konversation-1.0.2 on ~x86 https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133312
Konversation's upstream maintainer here. To sum it up: Known bug, fixed upstream in SVN revision 605705. A workaround for v1.0.1 is not to enable the "Focus new tabs" preference. "Focus new tabs" is disabled by default, which is how this unfortunately slipped through.
Reopening to reflect resolution...
(In reply to comment #2) > Konversation's upstream maintainer here. To sum it up: Known bug, fixed > upstream in SVN revision 605705. Thanks, patch applied downstream.
