Description Anthony Staines 2007-02-25 09:16:54 UTC
What happens :-

1) emerge celestia
2) emerge fails with error * Automake used for the package (1.7.9) differs from
                            * the installed version (1.10).

What should happen :-

Expected successful emerge

Celestia is marked ~x86 in /etc/portage/packages.keywords

The only mention of automake 1.7.9 that I can find is the first line
in the file Makefile.in in the work/celestia-1.4.1 directory.

$ grep  1.7.9 *
Makefile.in:# Makefile.in generated by automake 1.7.9 from Makefile.am.

chadwick temp # emerge celestia

Comment 2 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-25 09:19:33 UTC
1.4.1-r1 doesn't exist any more; if you have problems w/ 1.4.1-r2 then reopen this bug.
Comment 3 Anthony Staines 2007-02-25 09:22:49 UTC
There seems to be one vaguely similar bug #161173 at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161173
where emerging gnutls triggered a similar error message
