1.4.1-r1 doesn't exist any more; if you have problems w/ 1.4.1-r2 then reopen this bug.
There seems to be one vaguely similar bug #161173 at http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=161173 where emerging gnutls triggered a similar error message
