Description Chris Bainbridge (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-23 13:07:59 UTC
This is a request for a version bump. According to the Changelog 8.34.8 fixes the crash on suspend many people have been experiencing. Simply renaming the ebuild didn't work for me, I got a compile error, kernel 2.6.20, gcc 4.1.1:

tmp/portage/x11-drivers/ati-drivers-8.34.8/work/common/lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod/firegl_public.c:5332:53: error: macro "INIT_WORK" passed 3 arguments, but takes just 2

Bump Just Worked(TM) on 2.6.19 (x86) for me - try the older kernel?

8.34.8 is now in the tree.
