When I emerge hal 0.5.7.1-r3 to 0.5.7.1-r5, hal crash every time.
This is problem with flag DG_DISABLE_ASSERT in /etc/make.conf
OS Gentoo

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.make folder tree /etc/portage/env/sys-apps/hal
2.edit file hal and paste:
CFLAGS="${CFLAGS// -DG_DISABLE_ASSERT/}"
CXXFLAGS="${CXXFLAGS// -DG_DISABLE_ASSERT/}"
3.save file and reemerge hal

Actual Results:  
Hal working ;)
