Okay, ebuild is in the tree for more than a month ago, no bugs received and works cool.

So, arches, please stabilize =net-p2p/bittorrent-5.0.5

Thanks

This is with a new install (no previous versions) of bittorrent and wxGTK

bug 165229, reemerge wxgtk.
Comment 5 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-22 14:46:21 UTC
If wxGTK wasn't installed before I emerged bittorrent, then wouldn't that be a bug if wxGTK has to be emerged twice before it'll work?

Eh, wxGTK is a dep of wxPython. So it should be installed...
I couldn't reproduce the bug.
Comment 7 Jason Wever (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-24 00:03:29 UTC
Looks like I was confusing wxGTK with wxpython before. Re-emerging wxGTK did the trick, so SPARC stable.
Comment 8 Markus Rothe (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-24 11:57:01 UTC
ppc64 stable (why aren't we CC'd?)
Comment 9 N. Dan Smith 2007-02-24 17:24:54 UTC
Wow, I did this a while ago. Guess I forgot to commit it....

=net-p2p/bittorrent-5.0.5 is stable on ppc

- Emerges cleanly with USE="gtk"
- No collisions
- Works

Comment 11 David Heaps 2007-03-02 07:17:20 UTC
I'm receive the same error that Jason did on Comment #3, only I'm running an amd64. I tried re-emerging wxgtk, but that didn't help.
Comment 12 David Heaps 2007-03-02 07:19:25 UTC
I forgot to mention... it does run as root, just not as a normal user.
