Description Branko Majic 2007-02-20 15:37:59 UTC
The package emerge failed due to a bug in the source code.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge cel
Actual Results:
An error occurred during the compilation of cel. Here is the relevant part of the error reported:

This might be an AMD64 issue, since the size_t might be related to CPU architecture (correct me if I'm wrong)? Similar error (but, to be honest, much stranger) will also appear also in file "plugins/network/tcp/tcpgameclient.cpp" at line 344. I have tried to change the code by forcing the casting on both occasions, and this allowed for a clean compilation, but I doubt that I got it right in any case (especially in the second file which I mentioned above).
I have marked the bug critical since the library cannot be compiled (but I'm not sure if it should be marked critical - your call).
If someone can confirm that they get the same error on x86 arch, this should probably be pushed upstream towards the cel developers.

do an

emerge --sync please

This is (hopefully) already fixed.
