gucharmap 1.9.0 is out. I would like to see a new ebuild for this in portage. A copy of the old ebuild at least compiles when disabling the epatch and sed calls in src_unpack. The gnome eclasses are a bit too involved for me, though. So I'd like to leave checking this ebuild to someone who knows gnome ebuilds.
Gucharmap 1.9.0 is in the gnome-experimental overlay. If you want a workin ebuild, you can check it out from there and put it in your local overlay. However, we won't add it to portage without the rest of gnome 2.18. Don't hesitate to try it out though :) Thanks
Newer versions are in portage. Do I have to reopen this in order to mark it fixed?
