Description Ted Goodridge, Jr 2003-03-03 12:45:05 UTC
The x86 install instructions work pretty well for installing on alpha.
Unfortunately, there are no instructions on installing a bootloader (i.e.
aboot.) I had to hunt around for man pages and one led me to another and I
eventually figured it out.
Also people need to be aware of how your boot drive must be a BSD disk label /
partition type, the first 3 sectors must be unallocated, and that the "BSD
partition type" _MUST_ be selected in the kernel config.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Documentation issue
2.
3.
