Description Chris Bainbridge (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-16 09:59:13 UTC
Version suffixing as in oocalc2, oowriter2 etc. is unnecessary. Openoffice-1 is no longer in portage. It is also inconsistent - other packages do not append version suffixes to files in /usr/bin/. It is also inconsistent with other distros eg. ubuntu use /usr/bin/oowriter (no suffix).

I think the binary suffix option is simple a configure argument.

Forgot to close this, OOo 2.2.0 has the suffix removed
