When I start mythfrontend on my gnome 2.16 with the compiz 0.3.6 window manager.
The MythTV window is fullscreen, but the gnome panels are visible in front of it.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start needed services (mysql, mythbackend)
2. start mythfrontend as user (in X)

Actual Results:
The gnome panels do not disappear although MythTV is in fullscreen mode.

Expected Results:
Gnome panels are not visible

it's probably the way panels are rendered as an always on top thing.

This happens with every full screen app for me. I believe it's how OpenGL is handled by the X server differently then X window objects.

I don't believe there's any way to fix do to the nature of X.
