Description Frederic Grosshans 2007-02-14 18:39:09 UTC
MAc-on-Linux doesn't work on 32bits userland ppc64 (G5). It's an upstream problem (see the above URL), but I think the ebuild should be hardmasked in the ppc64 32ul profiles.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge mol

Actual Results:
Portage tries to merge mol, and but fails after having compiled its dependencies and started compiling int.

Expected Results:
I wouldhave expected something like :
$ emerge -p mol

These are the packages that would be merged, in order:

Calculating dependencies |
!!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "mol" have been masked.
!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:
- app-emulation/mol-0.9.71.1 (masked by: package.mask)
#Frederic Grosshans <frederic.grosshans@m4x.org> (14 feb 2007)
# Masked becaus it doesn't work 64bits processors

- app-emulation/mol-0.9.72_pre2 (masked by: package.mask)
- app-emulation/mol-0.9.72_pre1 (masked by: package.mask, ~ppc keyword)

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
refer to the Gentoo Handbook

Thank you ... masked in the ppc64 tree of the profiles.

stick a fork in it!
