Description Samuel Meek 2007-02-13 07:30:44 UTC
When xpdf is started from the command line, the application crashes and the following error message is given:

X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)
Major opcode of failed request: 55 (X_CreateGC)
  Value in failed request: 0x1800015
Serial number of failed request: 144
Current serial number in output stream: 155

The "Value in failed request" field always ends with 00015, but is sometimes preceded by 'e' or '12' instead of '18'

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Run xpdf from the command line
Actual Results:
Application crashes with the error message given in description

Given that several months have passed without a comment, can you still reproduce this on a newer system? I could not verify this with openmotif-2.2.3-r9 and xpdf-3.01-r8 nor have I had similar problems with earlier versions. Also: this, CFLAGS="-march=athlon64 -O3 -pipe", is not supported.

should be solved with the new version, if not, please reopen.
