when i tried to emerge bitchx i had to emerge giflib but it gave an error about
unexpected ending of file, when i looked at the ebuild i noticed that the
closing } did not exist.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge bitchx
2.as a dependencie emerge giflib.
3.

Actual Results:  
i got the error about unexpected ending of file

Expected Results:  
emerged the package

what rsync mirror ?  file is fine on cvs

ftp.snt.utwente.nl, i often notice this problem at this mirror, but it's mostly just putting an } on the last line of the ebuild

received an email from the utwente.nl admin stating the problem should be resolved.  also was able to complete a full portage tree rsync with them and bitchx file was complete. 

closing as fixed.
