When trying to debug a Kuroo problem I've been having lately, I try to get the backtrace and it requires gdb to display the backtrace.  That being said, shouldn't gdb be added as a requirement when the debug option is enabled?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Crash Kuroo without having gdb installed
2.
3.

Actual Results:  
it errors out showing that it needs gdb

Expected Results:  
given a backtrace

This has nothing to do with portage.

Not unless is fails to compile without it.
