Description Martin Bays 2007-02-11 14:46:33 UTC
>>> Compiling source in /var/tmp/portage/app-emacs/htmlize-1.34 ...
>>Error occurred processing *.el: File error (("Opening input file" "no such file or directory" "/var/tmp/portage/app-emacs/htmlize-1.34/*.el"))
Done

Presumably it should be looking in /var/tmp/portage/app-emacs/htmlize-1.34/work/, which does contain the file htmlize.el.

Given the simplicity of the ebuild for htmlize, I'm guessing that this is actually a bug in the elisp eclass. I couldn't find any relevant existing bugs, and I didn't want to make this one more specific without being sure of the problem - please tell me if I should have filed this differently.

I made an error when bumping the package, so I did repack it yesterday to fix the problem. Emerges fine here, resync or maybe wait a day until your distfiles mirror catches up.
Comment 2 Martin Bays 2007-02-11 21:11:58 UTC
OK yes, it emerges fine now. Must have been bad timing. Sorry for any agro.

In first place it was my error, so why should there be any aggression? Keep up filing bugs.
Comment 4 Martin Bays 2007-02-12 00:29:11 UTC
Oh wow, I always thought 'agro' was short for 'aggravation', which is what I meant by it. Well this bug wasn't for nought after all - you've taught me some English.

 :) At least I know agro/aggro in that way, I am not a native speaker either.

Embarrassingly enough, I am...

But anyway, we should probably stop flooding bugzilla with off-topic
conversation. See you next bug...
