Leszek, it appears that you still have an extremely old version of the vmware overlay containing a bad vmware.eclass somewhere in your configuration.  Please remove it, re-sync your main portage tree and try re-emerging vmware-modules.  At the moment it should be making use of vmware-any-any107.  If you locate it, remove it and still experience the problems, please reopen this bug and provide the information from "emerge --info", and we'll see if we can't track down the problem...  5:)
