Most of this time (almost 11 hours!) was taken by the test phase.

If this is the expected behavior, could a warning be added to the ebuild?

my emerge --info (as of today):
I was still using portage-2.1.2-r5 and linux-headers-2.6.19.2-r2 when libgcrypt was installed.

So don't use FEATURES=test, what kind of solution do you expect here? :P
Comment 2 Alon Bar-Lev (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-08 20:13:14 UTC
I have the same configuration... Except of using -O3... But I don't thing this is the issue.
libgcrypt-1.2.3-r1 takes about 5 minutes.
libgcrypt-1.2.4 takes about 2 minutes.

Please try to test it again...
Comment 3 Alon Bar-Lev (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-10 13:32:21 UTC
Please reopen if you have the time to test this again.
Thanks!
