Description Howard Hsieh 2002-04-10 17:28:39 UTC
When you try to 'emerge ImageMagick', you get a 'ERROR 404: Not Found'. The file Portage tries to
download is:
http://www.ibiblio.org/gentoo/distfiles/ImageMagick-5.4.4-4.tar.bz2

It then tries to download it from:
http://imagemagick.sourceforge.net/http/ImageMagick-5.4.4-4.tar.bz2

...and the corresponding ebuild is:
/usr/portage/media-gfx/imagemagick/imagemagick-5.4.4-r1.ebuild

I ran it on my Gentoo install, which was 1.0 release (not rc6) which I patched to 1.1a via the
upgrade instructions given in the announcement. I also checked to make sure I had the latest
versions of Portage and ran 'emerge rsync' as well. (system up to date as of 4/10/2002)

I have already checked in a fix which fetches a tar.gz file instead of tar.bz2
try emerging rsync and then imagemagick again
