Description DEMAINE Benoît-Pierre, aka DoubleHP 2007-02-06 19:07:33 UTC
I just remark that the Makefile compiles the driver for kernel `uname -r`, what means, if you
module-rebuild rebuild
just after some genkernel for a 'new' kernel, before booting it, you are to build the driver for the currently running kernel, instead of the futur one.

I do not expect Gentoo maints to correct this; I report as I see it, and I hope to propose a patch within 2 weeks.

I will also have to propose a new ebuild to support CVS version, because author just said me that he stopped releasing tarballs, and will stuck to CVS.

I just need any one to get assigned to the bug so that when I attach the new ebuild, some maint can merge it to portage.

Could Matthias Schwarzott <zzam@gentoo.org> be assigned to this bug ?
