kqemu 1.3.0pre10 is available and the module is now open source (i.e. GPL). See: http://fabrice.bellard.free.fr/qemu/download.html

app-emulation/kqemu-1.3.0_pre11 is  now available and is release under GPL. No longer closed source! Hope to see this and qemu updated soon.

version 1.3.0pre11:

- dynamic device '/dev/kqemu' creation is now the default.
- '-fno-stack-protector' gcc option fix
- added kqemu regression tests (can serve as API usage example too)
- included kqemu technical doc

version 1.3.0pre10:

- Changed license to GPL version 2
- x86_64 full virtualization support

pre11 in portage, have fun using it =)

(I just checked with an amd64)
