emerging of gnome-icon-theme fails with errors posted below. I guess it's just some dependence missing as I don't have gnome installed, only few libs required by apps I use. No, the deps look fine; it looks like you have a broken set of perl XML processing packages. Try re-emerging dev-perl/XML-SAX, maybe? If that doesn't work, then dev-perl/XML-Simple, dev-perl/XML-LibXML, and dev-perl/XML-Parser are obvious candidates. Maybe a run of perl-cleaner is what you really need?
re-emerging dev-perl/XML-SAX worked. However it was the same version so I don't understand what is different now... seems strange to me, but It Works (tm). At least I found there is something like perl-cleaner. Thanks.
