At approximately 02:00 GMT on Sunday, February 04 2007, I noticed that gentoo.chem.wisc.edu was no longer available. It does not respond to pings, TCP Connect() attempts, accessing via a web browser, or fetching files via portage. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to access http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/gentoo via web browser 2. Try to fetch files from http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/gentoo via portage 3. Try to ping http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu 4. Try to nmap -sT -P0 -p 80 gentoo.chem.wisc.edu Actual Results: No responses from any of these methods. Expected Results: Naturally, the server should respond to these requests - but since it doesn't, I can only assume that it's down.
