Description Wiebe Cazemier 2007-02-04 18:14:32 UTC
As I desribe in [1] (forum topic), multiple dar versions are slotted, but they can't be. When you install a version from slot 4 (2.3.1 or 2.3.2) next to one from slot 0 (2.2.6), the one you installed first will be destroyed, and you have two versions of dar mixed up.

Additionally, is there a reason why dar versions > 2.2.6 are ~arch? They have been for months.

[1] https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-532546.html

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Install dar 2.2.6 and [2.3.1 or 2.3.2] simultaneously and run "equery k" on the different dar versions.
Actual Results:
At least one version will be reported by equery as having a lot of broken files.

Expected Results:
Slotting for dar should be removed, so you can only install one version.
