Emerge fails when compiling kadu 0.5.0 on AMD64 using gcc version 4.1.1.

Well, this bug depends on "mail" flag, emerging kadu without this flag succeeds.

This seems to be fixed in 0.6.0_rc2.

Michael, can you confirm this is fixed in the latest 0.6* kadu that is going stable?

I confirm. kadu-0.6.0.2-r1 builds and works fine.
