The summary says it all, really. Maybe the ebuild should be changed to check which versions of 1.4.1 are available in exports, and use the most recent. <shrug> But then people would be stuck with older versions of the JDK. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
This new JDK revision is on testong fo a while. Thanks.
Just so you know, when Sun bumps its revision number, it becomes impossible to get the older revisions. This means that someone like me is stuck with no sun-jdk at all, because Gentoo insists on 1.4.1_01, and Sun insists on 1.4.1_02. Leaving things like this as long as they have been, and then leaving them in testing, can be a major inconvenience for some of your users. When Sun bumps a revision number, it does not mean that anything has changed, particularly. There doesn't really need to be a long process of quality assurance.
