Is this still an issue with courier-authlib-0.59.1?
(In reply to comment #2) > Is this still an issue with courier-authlib-0.59.1? > Yes it is. I'm thinking that it might be caused by incompatibility with some packages i have installed on my system, but i simply cannot find out which it is. It worked about a month ago but then i uninstalled it plus some other packages & did a update of world, running revdep-rebuild returns no broken packages. Yet courier-authlib refused to build now. If i cannot find a solution for this issue within the next couple of days i might as well just download it from courier-mta.org and compile it manually (which works by the way) but i would prefer to use the version in portage. Thanks for any insight.
I've just added courier-authlib-0.59.2 to the tree, which according to upstream cleans up the configure, so maybe this fixes it... From looking at the config.log it could be mysql which is broken... Try doing a revdep-rebuild on your system, and try different USE flags combinations when you emerge courier-authlib, maybe you can pinpoint which one makes it fail. If it still doesn't work, please tell me the exact USE flags with which you emerge courier-authlib, since it works here, so maybe I'll be able to reproduce it... Best regards, CHTEKK.

I did revdep-rebuild when messing with this issue before and it didn't report any problems. The USE flags used were these: "berkdb crypt gdbm mysql pam -debug -ldap -postgres" I tried a lot of different variations all with same result. I just merged stable version again which is still 0.58 and it still fails. After that i merged 0.59-2 & it fails in the excact same manner. !!! ERROR: net-libs/courier-authlib-0.59.2 failed. A new version of net-libs/courier-authlib and mail-mta/courier has been commited into portage recently. Please check if this bug persists when using the new versions.
