Comment 3 nicolo 2007-02-01 18:59:06 UTC
the error is
OpenSSL: tls_connection_handshake - Failed to read possible Application Data
error:00000000:lib(0):func(0):reason(0)

the line
SSL: No data to be sent out
is not present
Comment 4 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-01 20:39:20 UTC
Sigh... Reopen with /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf attached.
Comment 5 nicolo 2007-02-01 23:17:45 UTC
oh, sorry! this is my wpa_supplicant.conf:

ctrl_interface=/var/run/wpa_supplicant
ctrl_interface_group=users
ap_scan=2

network={
ssid="STUDENTI.MATH"
proto=WPA
key_mgmt=WPA-EAP
pairwise=TKIP
group=TKIP
eap=PEAP
identity="my_username"
ca_cert="/etc/ssl/certs/math.cacert.pem"
password="my_password"
phase2="auth=MSCHAPV2"
}

But it can't be the problem because whith the same config file my connection worked still few days ago.. I didn't changed anything but a day the connection stopped to work with this error..i also tryed to downgrade wpa_supplicant to version 0.5.6 but nothing..
Comment 6 Roy Marples (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-06 11:29:33 UTC
Does 0.5.5 work?
Comment 7 nicolo 2007-02-09 23:30:01 UTC
I don't know, but the problem is that 0.5.6 worked still two weeks ago
Comment 8 Roy Marples (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-02-09 23:48:25 UTC
So 0.5.6 works and 0.5.7 doesn't?
Comment 9 nicolo 2007-02-11 14:19:51 UTC
no nothing works right now...i will test 0.5.5 tuesday
Comment 10 nicolo 2007-02-13 18:46:33 UTC
also 0.5.5 same problem..i think the problem is in openSSL
Comment 11 Renato Caldas 2007-04-10 14:53:49 UTC
Bump.

Do you still have this problem?
Comment 12 Roy Marples (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2007-07-07 23:26:47 UTC
Do either 0.5.8 or 0.6.0 versions of wpa_supplicant fix? Or another openssl version? Have you tried using the gnutls USE flag?

Re-open with more info if there is still an issue :)
