I would remove jikes today if there weren't packages like kaffe needing it to bootstrap. Feel free to add java-pkg_filter-compiler jikes to src_unpack when you see these cases. Should add some kind of JIKES_DOES_NOT_COMPILE_EVERYTHING flag :).
