Description Toei Rei 2007-02-01 12:00:50 UTC
Emerging nvidia-drivers fails. The sources are downloaded as they should - the unpack routine just at unpacking seems to be bad.

>>> Unpacking NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9746-pkg0.run to /var/tmp/portage/x11-drivers
/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9746/work
unpack NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9746-pkg0.run: file format not recognized. Ignoring.
>>> Unpacking NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86-1.0-9746.tar.gz to /var/tmp/portage/x11-drivers
/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9746/work
/usr/portage/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9746.ebuild: line 150
: cd: /var/tmp/portage/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9746/work/NVIDIA-Linux-x86
-1.0-9746-pkg0/doc: No such file or directory
/usr/portage/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9746.ebuild: line 151
: cd: /var/tmp/portage/x11-drivers/nvidia-drivers-1.0.9746/work/NVIDIA-Linux-x86

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. get gFbsd base install running
2. emerge nvidia-drivers
3. wait

Expected Results:
being emerged?

> The sources are downloaded as they should

No, they are not. You've downloaded drivers for x86 Linux; kindly set your profile and ACCEPT_KEYWORDS properly. :P

Remove x86 from your USE!
