I was trying to kill a bash session inside yakuake, typing the command kill -9 pidbash from another yakuake session, and I encountered a segmentation fault. KDE bug #124129 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open yakuake 2. kill -9 another session Actual Results: crash Expected Results: non crash

I don't seem to be able to reproduce that bug here. I have tried killing several other bash pids (although it also seems like a strange way to end sessions). Have you sent this upstream? What arch is this on? I am using amd64 here.
Fixed upstream (maintainer speaking).
Addendum: The fix for this bug is included in the newly-released Yakuake 2.8-beta1 which was added to the Portage on May 6th 2007.
cf. comment #4. Thanks, Eike!
